I have had this adapter for a year now and have never had a problem with Voange. A couple of ISP connection issues which stops vonage from working but those are rare. All in all $44 out of pocket fro Verizon to $16 out of pocket for Vonage -- with way more features.
If you know anything about wiring and phones it is a sinch to hook up vonage so all of your phone jacks are powered by Vonage.
Also -- I have a DISH DVR-522; no problem with it dialing out to DISH (modem)

I just purchased one of these units a week ago and I am extremely pleased with how easy it was to set up and the quality of the service (especially the sound quality). Canadian pricing is higher than what is posted on the Canadian Tiger Direct site (Vonage charges $19 vs $14) but it is still 1/3 of the cost that I was paying and I get more features.

In response to the guy who has highspeed internet through his usb and anyone else concerned, You ppl obviously dont know much about networking. And the fact that VOIP phone adapters dont work with USB well thank god! USB can be so unreliable at times. Dont ask why your having a flaky internet connection. Proper networking is done trough ethernet.
