By default, albums can be browsed by album cover or alternately by artist, songs, genres, or searched. Also included is built-in support for Audio CD burning directly from Media Center.

Media Center 2005 now supports full live TV and personal video recording support for ATSC Digital TV (480p) and High Definition TV (720p/1080i) local network TV programming delivered via UHF antenna. Setup is seamless and requires only a zip code with Digital TV channels showing up completely integrated into your Electronic Program Guide in an unused channel range. I'm using this OS since 2003 now. since I got it from one of MY friend I never thought of any other OS.. it's simply great. & now I've installed WINTV PVR 150 on it so it becomes 2nd TV for ME. |

Just recived my copy of XP media edition and installed it on my computer,I would like to thank everyone for your information on the install.Replaced Vista in about 2 hrs and have'nt had a blue screen since.Thankyou TigerDirect ,greet People |

To jacuzzis: thanks for that tip about putting in the sp2 disk. I was seriously stumped on that one, it caused some major problems. I decided to start fresh with a new, clean, WD 500gb SATA HDD, works flawlessly now. I have installed MCE 2005 in a Thermaltake Soprano case, on a Asus P5Q pro mobo, with a P4 ht 3.2 chip (waiting for a core 2 duo) running 5 HDDs, 2gb DDR, ATI 256mb radeon fanless, and of course a dvd rom drive just to install the software. i have all this wired to my panasonic 42'' plasma with 5.1 dolby digital surround using coax cable. Purely using for downloaded media, and just bought an avermedia hd tuner from tiger. Very very pleased with this software, very stable. I highly recommend it! |

Note to Radtoy: When asked for the XP Pro SP2 disk, just put the first disk back into the drive. XP Media Center IS XP Pro with extra bells and whistles.
Funny thing though...TD was only charging $109.99 when I bought MY copies of it. |
