Needed another computer but I wanted to stay with Windows XT. Gave the IBM Thinkcenter off-lease machine a try. I am very happy!. Machine has a small 'footprint' for a desktop unit. This machine is VERY quiet. I have since added 2 additional gb of ram and access was quick and easy. I also added a card reader. CD tray sticks before completely closing and needs a 'nudge' before disc will read. Set-up instructions were very basic, even still, I was online without any problems. When I have an extra minute I will lube dvd tray rails with a swab, but the issue does not cause me any concern. This unit is a great value. |

first arrived doa; second seems a-ok. keyboard and mouse included are junk, 2nd mouse arrived in pieces; would just as soon they kept 'em, lowered the price $10, and saved me the bother of throwing them out. but overall - an excellent machine, quiet, and solid. |

This computer packs a punch. Lots of RAM, large HDD, Win XP Pro, IBM Quality. I am glad I made this purchase! |

I got 5 of these PC's to use at my business. It is very fast, very reliable and does more than I need for my business. THE ONLY THING I would recommend is to add 1 GB of ram more. TO take the need out of the PC. It will have more than you need for YEARS to come.
