needs. Available with an optional Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor
to blaze through your workloads, wireless LAN technology2 to keep
you connected whether in or out of the office and a CD/DVD burner3
for data backup and entertainment uses, this notebook is equipped
with the tools required to support your day-to-day business computing
endeavors.
With
a slim 15.4" form factor, the VAIO® NR notebook is easy to handle
and great for on-the-go computing. Rounded corners and beveled
edges make for easy insertion and removal from carrying cases
and handbags. Available in three colors pleasing to the eye -
Wenge, Granite and Silk - the NR notebook is designed to impress
with its soft, neutral tones and simple, contemporary appeal.
Keeping ease of use in mind, Sony engineers placed the most frequently
used ports and slots in easily accessible locations on the VAIO®
NR notebook. Two USB ports are located up front on either side
of the chassis (4 USB ports total) so you can effortlessly expand
your functionality to include such useful peripherals as a web
cam, printer, external hard drive and mouse (sold separately).
In addition, also within close reach are the PC Card, Memory Stick
PROTM and SD card slots, giving the VAIO NR the convenient ability
to rapidly transfer large files
